Safety First ---

Let’s talk about safety…

I am a huge advocate for sexual health, but that means nothing if I don’t follow my own rules! So I’ve prepared this little page where I’m willing to put myself in the spotlight because I am a true believer than trust is a 2 way street. I have redacted my Talent ID for my own discretion but I also post my results on my Instagram (@your_little_lana) whenever I get a new test (which I do monthly when possible).

In terms of recommending others when they should get tested, I like to say the average rule is get tested every 3 months, no matter the number of partners or frequency.

If meeting someone new, I recommend 2 weeks before and then 2 weeks, one month, and then 3 months after initial contact when a new long term partner is introduced. This always sounds like a lot to people, but the reality of it is that there are multiple STDs that don’t show up instantly and don’t have any symptoms, so this type of regiment is the surest way of knowing both of you are truly clean and can act fast if you discover one or both of you aren’t.

In the industry, if you’re a regular worker or guest of a worker, getting tested monthly is the best route.

“But getting tested that often is going to be expensive!”

  • There are unlimited amount of free testing clinics available all across the USA.

  • As a worker, Talent Testing Service is a company designed for workers by offering test results within 24 hours.

“But I only see one person!”

  • You’d be surprised how much one person can influence the lives of many when it comes to sexual health. Many people don’t know they have an STD, so one person can pass a single STD to 20 just by general rules of contact ( 1 passes to 1, that 1 passes it to 2, that 2 passes it to 5, that 5 passes it to 15, etc. )
